Mission:

To support and encourage an effective network of Kentucky Habitat for Humanity affiliates through the creation of new affiliates, resource development, advocacy, capacity building, mentoring, and prayer.

About:

Incorporated in November 1993, Kentucky Habitat for Humanity (KyHFH) was founded by a group of individuals whose sole purpose was to make a significant difference in the lives of Kentucky’s low-income adults and children, by working in partnership to build decent and affordable homes. To date, the 51 affiliates, serving 59 counties in Kentucky, which we directly support, have built approximately 2,500 homes; served more than 10,000 Kentuckians; provided over 4 million volunteer hours, and constructed the first Habitat Passive House. Through its grants, low-interest (0-2%) loans, and other financial support, KyHFH has provided an economic impact of nearly $100 million in affordable housing for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
