One or twice a month Habitat opens it's warehouse to sell gently used donated items to the supporters. Happy customers go home with items such as paint, faucets, fixtures, roofing, tools, doors and windows. Dates in 2019 include March 7 & 8th, April 11th &12th, May 2,& 3rd, June 6 & 7th, September 5 & 6th, October, 10 & 11th and November 7 & 8th.
What is a Habitat Warehouse Sale? Our warehouse at 320 West Washington Street just west of downtown Franklin, selling construction materials. These are items that have been donated, some new and some gently used, such as sinks, toilets, countertops, doors, windows, and some extra supplies left over from previous builds Habitat has done here in Franklin.
The best part of this is that 100% of the money earned goes right back into build safe affordable housing here in Simpson County!
Currently, we are taking your donations of various building materials that you, perhaps, have from work you are doing. Do you have any of the following items and don't know what to do with them? Call us at 270-586-6515 and donate for Thrifty Thursday!
- Used Appliances that still work
- Toilets, sinks, vanities
- Kitchen cabinets
- Windows, doors, shutters
- Working light fixtures and ceiling fans
- Flooring
- Leftover full sheets of wallboard, OSB, plywood
- Hand tools, power tools that work
- Landscape supplies, bird baths, leaf blowers that work, rakes, shovels etc.
